Cruise Bracelets
One of the most successful things we have found to do in a cruise group is to offer bracelets like the one pictured. We will have a sign up sheet for them and offer them in two sizes: adult and child. Sometimes it is best for adults to get a child size bracelet.
Why would you want to offer these? Simply put they are a great ice breaker once on board. If you see someone wearing one you can walk up to them and say “Oh you are in the Facebook group?” and boom instant friend. These are even better in the kids clubs!
We customize them for the specific sailing and sell them for $1 a piece. We then deliver them at the first day meet up and if the guest can’t make that, we deliver them to the stateroom and put them in the “Fish” outside their stateroom.
To set up a list of how many you need to order and what size, we suggest creating a google form for people to fill out. The required info is as follows:
- Name of Guest (full name)
- Stateroom Number
- Number of Adult Bracelets
- Number of Child Bracelets
This then gets populated into an excel spreadsheet to let you know how many to order. While there are many places that allow you to order bracelets online, we have had the most success with RapidWristBands.com. This is due to the fact that they offer a buy 100 bracelets, get 200 free! (note this could change). The 200 free are in the same distribution as the first 100 so if you order 50 adult and 50 child, you will receive 100 extra of each.
We have found that the following settings on the bands work best:
- Ink injected
- 1/2 inch
- Any solid color or glow
- Waltograph for the font
(note: we do not have any affiliation with them, nor do we collect any affiliate revenue)
